On 10 Sep 2021-2022 Hop 198 Mr. Haange, the 11th parliament was full of disagreements and did not give a chance to junior politicians. This was partly due to the fact that the representation of the community was close-listed, meaning that only a small number of people were eligible to run for office. Mr. Haange's efforts in the new revolution did not allow him to represent the majority of the people who support him, as he was unable to secure a seat in parliament.
This is a challenging situation for Mr. Haange and other junior politicians in Somalia. However, it is important to remember that democracy is a process, and it takes time to build and strengthen. Mr. Haange's continued involvement in politics and his efforts to advocate for the interests of the people he represents are essential to ensuring that the Somali people have a voice in their government.
Here are some suggestions for how Mr. Haange can continue to advocate for the interests of his supporters, even though he is not currently a member of parliament:
- He can continue to meet with his supporters and listen to their concerns.
- He can speak out on their behalf at public meetings and events.
- He can work with other politicians and civil society organizations to promote policies that benefit his supporters.
- He can use social media and other forms of communication to reach a wider audience and raise awareness of the issues that matter to his supporters.
Mr. Haange's supporters can also play a role in advocating for his interests. They can contact their elected representatives and urge them to support policies that are important to them. They can also participate in public demonstrations and events to raise awareness of the issues they care about.
By working together, Mr. Haange and his supporters can make a difference in Somali politics and ensure that the voices of the people are heard.
