ABDI AZIZ AHMED GURBIYE: Gurbiye Official Bage:( I was born in Mogadishu, Somalia the city which I left at a very young age. I lived in so many parts of the world, and for different periods of time (Most of it was in Nairobi, Kenya). Have B. A In Mass Media at Ainshamsi University in Cairo, Egypt. I love traveling around the globe, and this is why I traveled to so many different places around the world.

Currently, I’m a manager at Atlas College, Nairobi, Kenya, and also working as a Director for Unisom Media.

I’m a Professional Journalist, Lecturer, Film director, Book writer and. I read a lot and I love video gaming and I also enjoy Classics and all kinds of good music. At Islamic field, by the age of 7 I had memorized Qur’an, and Tafsir also after few years. Quran is the word of god and the only true in this world. I’m proud to be a Muslim. I love football, and I’m a huge Man United fan. I support the Somali National Team in the international events. People who inspire me are a lot, but here are some of them, My Parents, Our Prophet Mohamed, Omar Binu Khidab, Omar binu Abdi Aziz, Mohamed El-fatih, SYL, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin L. King , Abdihamid Kishk, Jamal Abdi Nasir, M. F. Aidid. I believe that everything in life is subject to criticism. Politically I consider myself a liberal, even though that I have my own stands on few subjects. I also believe that Islamic rule is the best governing system.

I write for Peace and for a better future for Somalia and the human kind, and also to spread liberal thoughts and fight hate and ignorance in the Arab world, I now very well who is the friend and who our enemy is, and I know very well who came to our country to help us, and who came there to kill us.

As a Muslim Arab who has lived my entire life in the Middle East and East Africa, as someone who stands for liberal Islamic views and stands against anyone who has an extremist ideology, I won’t let anyone to spoil Islam and Islamic governing system.

My position as an Arab who lives in the Arab world and deals with the issues I write about on a daily basis I want to build a bridge between Islamic world and others, despite the fact that most of them live thousands of miles away from the Arab world and do not speak Arabic. Most of them seem to be under the impression that Islamist acts of terror against the West and Israel only occur because of Western imperialism or support for Israel, when in fact; the Islamists have been committing terrorist acts against the Arab world for centuries. It began with us and it has nothing to do with Western imperialism, but, in fact, has to do with Islamist imperialism. We are not here, to live to eat and drink, get married, build a house and then die. The world today is becoming more open and much smaller, leaving you with your backward and worn traditions and your ignorance.
